The one with the wig...

We are all ears...

The Noise launch show last Thursday was sweeeeeet. I just like performing to a new crowd because its just like introducing yourself to a new person. If you're good, they'll love you right away. Still couldnt forget the Localbrand show last 2 years (can't imagine its been that long). There was this lady, Linda Chia, who danced with me when I pulled her up. She was very supportive and hot too btw. Niwae, the food at the Noise reception was so delicious especially the pepperoni pizzas. Saw alot of familiar faces, and Wei Wei looks amazing siaaaa. The boys were like staring at her. Haha! The show went smoothly, and I've got to say that Inch from Allura has one of the best stage presence among many female performers in Singapore. Local talents is the shizzie my nizzie! If you're interested in joining Noise festival, log on to http://www.noisesingapore.com/ and submit your work. You may never know who might discover you. We are all ears. Chey chey, feeling tagline. ;)

Woke up to a beautiful Saturday morning, only to be disappointed that the thing i'm looking forward to was not ready. Later Sab, Esa and I went to Fidah's chalet. Fidah just got into an accident last week and her injuries are pretty bad. But I can see that she's recovering. After that I went to Speakeasy. I was not the host, but every now and then I would come up on stage, crack some jokes and then sit back. Had supper and sheesha after that, and for the first time in my life I took 65M back home. Its actually much faster than NR7. Nothing like Saturday night and a fruitful long ride back home alone.

Yesterday, I went to Zaheed's place after work. He invited me over for a dinner and sheesha session with Ali, Fir, Mahader and Yasser. We watched a movie called 1408 and its one of the best horror movie I've seen. Highly recommended. Later, Zaheed took a wig out, so all of us tried it on and took picture of course. We couldnt stop laughing our heads off. I had so much fun and hopefully the guys would hang out like that again sometime.

The feeling Nirvana and fans...

The feeling Salem Iklim and fans...

Feeling Hernan Crespo chilling with guitar...

Feeling Johnny Depp...

Hahahahaha!

I went to watch The Simpsons with Sab today, and its damn hilarious. Its how every cartoon should be, senseless and exaggerating. Love it so much! Next movie to watch would be Ratatouille because its Pixar, nuff said. Hehe!

I have a show this Saturday @ Red Bar, near Bugis Junction. Will update more soon.

When can I get it? Why so long long, why so why so long?!

The one with the hyper-active manager...

Steven, Iskandar, me, Gary and Johnathan

It was sales period last weekend and what do you expect? Busy like mad siaaaaaaa. Hehe! Well, not as busy as the opening days, but after a very long time of more relaxing months, the sale is like a wake-up call for me. Kind stress when you're short of staff. Lucky I had Iskandar around to entertain me. He was like super active that weekend, screaming and singing his heart out. I think he finds me funnier after 65 & Hope, because now he really understand my jokes. Best kan? Haha!

The simple set-up...

My $10 per 15 mins video cameraman...

Feeling hot stuff...

FreakyZ & Peepshow...

Last Friday my show at Meridien Junior College was super fun. Honestly I was really tired when I was there because I went straight from work. But when I was on stage, as usual FreakyZ takes over and the crowd response were amazing. Its been quite a while since I got a response like that. MJC rocks!!! They made their own smoke machine by the way, which was really cute. Now I'm seriously in the mood of making new songs.

Couldnt stick around after that because I had to go to Vandal's album launch @ Redbar. I was kinda pissed that the event was delayed for 4 hours unnecessarily. Then many other people were pissed because they had to pay when it was actually stated that the event is free. But luckily, Vandal was dope as always. Its different when you hear him on the CD and see him live. He's way crazy live on stage and his freestyle skills is unlimited. Mad props to him!

Vandal from Toronto

I have a show this Thursday outside Heeren, 6pm. Its the Noise Festival launch featuring SkiVe, Psykes and Allura. So if you're free, please come down and show some love.

Cant wait for Saturday! Wooo hooo! Suspense kan? Kan?

The one with the number 33...

Sharing knowledge...

The macho and super hot facilitator...

Training was super fun...

We had to write like a qoute at the end of the course...

That's mine... ;)

Certified Teamworker... *check out the fake award smile*

I love trainings at Ikea. Firstly because if I work too much and keep doing the same things, I get kinda bored at work, so once awhile trainings would ease my mind off from work. Secondly, I like meeting new people from different departments. I'm a people's people (chey chey)! Having friends and contacts are very important. Lastly, I never got tired of learning new things. And I realise, no matter how old or experienced someone can be, everyday we can always learn something new. Amazing right?

The training was about Teamworking and we had to play a lot of team games and puzzles. Ok, I know I'm 23 already, but the games are super fun k. Haha! I was categorized as an 'Influential' leader and my colleagues called me Kumar Junior. Wth? Hahaha...

Shared one of the game with the XS boys, and they were damn lazy. Puuuuuiiit! Teamwork sucks! Haha! We went to Sentosa last Saturday at 2am in the morning. I have no idea who came up with that, but impulse trip are always fun. Especially the part when I moon-ed at the other car. Naufal couldnt stop laughing and then he said, "I wonder how your ass looks like Li..." Haha! More like jemput jemput pisang.

Niwae my show at Tampines Secondary was aiteee. The crowd was a little mendak, but Mrs Anne Chan is still gorgeous as always. The moment she saw me, she smiled and said, "You look exactly like 7 years ago". Haha! I have a video recording of the show. Once edited (insyallah), I'll upload it up YouTube.

Woke up to a beautiful day this morning....

Hate my camera, love them clouds...

Lucky number...

It rained during my TP, and I hated it...

Waiting for the results...

Nervous...

Ok, I want to share something. I dont really want to believe in this, but 33 has been my lucky number since I came back from Korea last year. Like everytime I said something and then when I see 33, it usually comes true. Coincidence maybe, but its kinda cool sometimes. Like today, when I was taking my TP tag, I took the wrong tag because I didnt know we were issued with a tag number. I was sitting down, wearing my knee guard and then I asked myself, "Can i pass?". Right after that, someone told me that I took his tag. So I stood up and checked my number, and it was tag number 33. I felt relieved after that, I dont know why.

Then it began to rain heavily, and I got nervous again. To make matters worse, there were a lot of immediate failures before me...

National Junior College...

Chris Mooney in action...

Evangeline and a tamil looking guy...

After my TP, I headed down to National Junior College for a Poetry Slam Workshop organized by Word Forward. They invited me to perform and so I did my 'thang' like how i normally do. Everything went smooth and Savinder, Chris's wife, is such a nice lady. Reminds me of my grandma, Nani. Met a new partner, Evangeline (nice name and cute too), and she was good with her poems.

Met Sab after that and we had dinner at this place, (what is it called eh dear?) where they sell Nasi Lemak, but 6 different types. Weird. Niwae the Chee Chong Fun there was dope. Miss those Geylang ones, when Nani use to buy them for me.

I had a super long tiring day, but its was all worthwhile... Alhamdulillah.

I have a show tomorrow at Meridien Junior College. Wish me luck! :)

Oh btw, I passed my TP! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Can u feel it? Can u feel it huh?? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have exorcise the demon!!! HAHAHA! :D

ps; Today's date: 19/07/07 ---- 19+7+7= 33. I told you, didnt I?

The one going back to school...

Sighhh... Those were the days. I think the best school days are my secondary school days. Growing up for 4 years from shorts to long pants sure has a lot of memories. I remember trying to perform at every possible concert I could. Even deepavali and chinese new year k. And I use to have that squeaky voice when I sang during Sec 1 talentime. Haha! My group didnt win anyway, but we sure had fun. So many sec school memories are in my head right now...

Anyway, I'll be visiting my secondary school tomorrow for a 'sibuk-sibuk' performance for their youth festival. I cant wait to see the old faces and places. I'll post up pictures and videos soon. Wish me luck!!! :D

The one in between us...

Yesterday marked our 6th year anniversary, plus minus a few hiccups *ehem ehem*. So Happy 6th Year Anniversary dear!! Went to Sentosa a few days ago, no not for the beach, just wanted to ride the cable car which I've not done with Sab yet. Kental kan... Then we played the Luge & Skyride at Sentosa, which was bloody fun. Well, there was nothing much that we could do at Sentosa unless we were there for the beach. So after trying everything that we possibly could, which includes trespassing, we headed back to Vivo, then to Marina Square.

I had a haircut btw, and now i look like a 17 year old boy again. The picture is before haircut btw. This is my second time having my hair cut at a hair salon. Kental kan... Love the part when they washed and massaged my hair. I had a power nap during that. Speaking of massage, guess what I did?! I went for a leg, body and hand massage! Haha! Its was the most ticklish and painful 30 minutes of my life. But it was super worth it, now my legs are so light, I can do the Van Damme kick.

Arrghhh, i hate my camera phone. Need a new digital camera. *hint hint*

Watched Transformers last week, and eventhough I was not into the cartoon series when I was young, I must say.. THE MOVIE IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! If I was beside Ebert and Roeper, I would put two more thumbs up. And I never thought fighter robots could be so cute until I saw Bumblebee. Alalalalala... Asal sayang? Sape marah dia??

Last week was not a very good week, because so many people had problems with each other and I have no idea why was I affected. Sometimes its the people in between us that makes it worst. I've had enough of all this badmouth, time to not care about people who are really selfish.

Oh yeah, I know you moved and you wish i read the post right. So I'm an asshole now huh? :)

I have a show next Wednesday at Tampines Secondary School, yes yes, my ex-secondary school. Mrs Anne Chan, my ex-squeeze (hehehe) wants me to come back for a youth festival. Best kan! Looking forward to that! Shit, gotta find my yearbook first...
